Foundation

World Village of Women Sports Foundation is a non-profit organisation.The purpose behind it is to create a better understanding concerning the situation of, and the preconditions for, Women and Sport. Leading researchers from all over the world sit on the foundations´s Scientific Council. Their wide-ranging competence, not least within sport-related science, ensures that future research results will be able to play a crusical role in the development of womens´s sports at the regional, national and international levels.

On the academic board are leaders from the international world of sport, who together represent a broad range of competencies. This selection of expertise from the different areas of sports-related science is a great asset.
